I'm back!
I've been back at work for a day or so. So far I have made about 36 boxes. and I'm working on another 12.
I have gone to the store to get packs of matches twice. I keep finding new ways to fill them. (and I will also have to find new ways to use hundreds of matches!)
I have used sliced paper tubes, molded figures of papermache and the translucent forms (pink and red in purple box - top row second from left)
are hotglue drizzled into cold water and painted with acrylic.
I have been trying to make boxes in a mixture of the styles that I usually work in (bright colors, circles, geometrics, metallis, mechanical) plus adding some newer forms. This sort of menagerie of forms is where I often come up with inspiration for new pieces.
