This piece started spontaneously and has been growing that way. I really didn't know where I was going with it and I wasn't sure if I would like it. So I have had very few pictures taken of this work.
In this picture, I have taken the grid away as a backing and used two different sizes of grids inside two different sized right triangles. The lines and curves have expanded so that it is quite large.
I had thought of this as a free-hanging piece. But it was starting to look like something that was going into a box. It already had many layers, and I put a underlayer with layers of designs below the grid layer.
I have added other things like the inlay of rainbow colors in the lower right. This piece has gotten so big that I had to put it on the floor to take the picture.
I think that there will be some more of these elements added in the white spaces, then I will do some dimensional things with some of the circles. But we'll see - this one seems to have a life of it's own.
peace and love
